Quality Technician/Inspector (Night Shift)

Moeller Precision Tool’s world headquarters located in Wixom, Michigan, is seeking self-motivated individuals, who have an upbeat personality, communicate well, and value customer satisfaction to join our quality department. We are currently expanding and looking to add inspectors to our 2nd shift quality inspection team. The ideal candidate for our ISO 9001 inspection team will be someone who can learn and promote quickly within the company.

Second Shift Only- Quality Inspector 5:30 PM – 4:00 AM

Successful quality inspectors must be detail oriented, energetic, and possess good problem-solving skills. Responsibilities include inspecting one or more piece non-production jobs. The ideal applicant will have a minimum of 2 year previous experience and possesses all necessary tools to perform the required job.

Responsibilities:

• Work with process drawings
• Work with inspection charts
• Complete plate layout inspection
• Program and inspect parts using B&S or Zeiss CMM

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 year plate inspection experience
• Proficient with understanding blue prints
• Proficient with the use of bore gauges, micrometers, calipers and optical comparator
• Work on your feet for 8 -10 hr. shifts
• Must be able to pass physical & drug screen
• 1 year programming CMM either PC-DEMIS or Calypso
